Hinrich Schuldt

On March 15, 1944, SS-Brigadeführer Hinrich Schuldt was struck and mortally wounded by Soviet anti-tank fire near the village of Sapronovo, Russia.  Medical personnel evacuated the commander of the 19th Waffen-SS Division, but he died shortly thereafter at the aid station.  (Quiet Flows the Rhine: German General Officer Casualties in World War II)
